What you will be doing
Auditing existing buildings on sustainability. The scope of the audit covers the technical aspects such as energy, water,… and at the same time broader sustainable aspects such as health, comfort, transport, materials, waste. The study can be a part of an ESG trajectory
Executing a BREEAM in use audit when possible (training provided)
Visiting buildings, gathering necessary data to analyse the AS IS
Defining an overall action plan regarding the different topics, coming up with alternative solutions to improve the building
Setting up a dialogue with the client, presenting and following up on the action plan, persuading and guiding the client towards a more sustainable building

What you’ll bring
The urge to make an impact on the building sector, willing to let your knowledge grow exponentially & to share know how with your colleagues
Minimum 5 years of experience in auditing, plus know how of sustainable buildings
Preferably a master in engineering with specialisation in construction, energy or architecture or equivalent through experience
Knowledge of IPMVP and regional energy legislation (EPC, Certificat PEB, PLAGE, …)
Some years of experience in the design of sustainable buildings and in project management in the building sector
Sharp organizational skills; taking ownership; experience in drafting clear and well-structured reports
Strong knowledge of Dutch or French. You speak and write English fluently
