Not only did the SuReal team bring the highest value of sustainability to our projects and gave us a strong advantage in competitions, they also made me think differently about this subject. Thanks to their spirit and knowhow, Alheembouw’s vision on sustainability practices in our company and constructions changed.

SuReal’s energy concept studies are detailed and to the point. Not only the energetic aspects are considered, but also the architectural and financial impact of certain choices. They think along with the project developer without ever forgetting the marketability of the project.

SuReal helped us with the dilemma of open or closed geothermal energy for the Vaartkom-Zuid project. The further energy concept was worked out in a co-creative process in which the specificities of the development were largely taken into account.

In the Brussels context, the importance of LCA studies is growing, especially when considering new buildings vs. renovations. SuReal has already helped us several times to obtain an objective picture of the LCA of complete projects.

For a complex tender of a DBFM project above 100 Mio Euro, SuReal did the sustainability coordination between architects, engineers, contractors and the client. Democo Group is working with SuReal on several building projects.
