In the project, Nexus Datacenter, SuReal’s primary role is to advise and implement a state-of-the-art Datacenter that aligns with the BREEAM Datacenter Pilot v0.1 standard. The overarching goal is to attain an “Excellent” rating for environmental performance. The EDGE Advanced Datacenter Pilot Certification was granted in 2025, making it the first building of its kind in Belgium to achieve this recognition. We are continuing to focus on incorporating sustainable innovations throughout the Datacenter’s design and operations to achieve the BREEAM rating. This building is a key component of the Green Energy Park in Zellik and is envisioned to become Belgium’s inaugural sustainable datacenter.
